Thales, a renowned multinational company, offers a diverse range of services from digital security to aerospace. Due to US laws allowing potential access to data hosted on US-based public cloud services, Thalès decided to migrate its data to a private cloud to ensure increased privacy and security. The data is categorized by security levels from C1 to C3, with C3 being the highest. The mission includes the creation of virtual machines, daily monitoring, weekly meetings with technicians, the design of the network diagram, the installation of document sharing software, and the production of documentation explaining the constraints of the platform.

MISSIONS
Feasibilty study (POC) :
- Creation of virtual machines on the private cloud.
- Daily monitoring of the platform to guarantee proper operation and security.
- Weekly meetings with technicians to discuss the formatting and evolution of the platform.
- Design of the network diagram necessary for the operation of the document sharing application.
- Installation of document sharing software.
- Creation of documentation explaining the impossibility of installing on the platform.
Change of environment :
- Switching to another private cloud service.
- Installation of the software on the private cloud to ensure the continuity of operations in complete security.
CHALLENGES
Testing the private cloud to determine feasibility for migration.
RESULT
Migration to another private cloud, as our feasibility study revealed that the target private cloud was not mature enough to host the application project.
