Thales has decided to store part of its less sensitive data on a public cloud service domiciled in the USA. With a view to improving quality of life and securing the environment, the company has chosen to automate some of its processes on the platform in question. The mission includes the automation of processes, the creation of virtual machines on the public cloud, weekly monitoring on the platform, the search for solutions to automate menial tasks such as restarting machines, the identification of all operating machines. a given environment and the automation of triggering backups and restoration of virtual machines.

- Feasibility study : An in-depth analysis of the planned solution to ensure its suitability for Thalès’ needs.
- Creation of virtual machines : Setting up virtual environments on the American public cloud to host automated processes.
- Weekly monitoring : Continuous and weekly monitoring of the platform to ensure the proper functioning and security of operations.
- Automation of menial tasks : Development of solutions to automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, such as restarting machines.
- Machine Identification : Looking for methods to inventory and track all machines present in the cloud environment.
- Automation of backups and restores : Implementation of automated systems to manage regular backups and restores of virtual machines when needed.
